EDDIE Howe has made three changes to his Newcastle United team for today's game against Nottingham Forest, with Martin Dubravka and Kieran Trippier dropping to the bench.

Sandro Tonali is also among the substitutes, with suggestions the Italian is suffering with muscle tightness.

Nick Pope, Tino Livramento and Lewis Miley coming in. And with Tonali missing out and Joelinton still unavailable, Joe Willock keeps his place in midfield.

In goal, Pope makes his first start since suffering a knee injury in early December. He replaces Dubravka, who this week signed a new contract with the Magpies.

Fabian Schar and Dan Burn continue at centre-half, with Sven Botman absent. Lewis Hall starts at left-back.

Bruno is joined by Willock and Miley in midfield, while the attack of Jacob Murphy, Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak remains unchanged.

Ex-Newcastle players Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood both start for Nottingham Forest.
