Roy Keane will be on punditry duty this afternoon (Sunday), as he casts his eye over Newcastle United vs Nottingham Forest and Manchester City vs Liverpool.

The former midfielder turned pundit is known for not holding back in his thoughts while in the studio, delivering an honest opinion on the games.

The upcoming matches could be crucial in the race for the Champions League, as well as the title. Nottingham Forest, who Keane played for, currently sit in third place in the league.

Newcastle are in eighth position, but a win would see them climb into the top five. Meanwhile, following Arsenal’s loss against West Ham United, Liverpool have the chance to move 11 points clear at the top of the table. They face a Man City side who sit in fourth position.

There is bound to be talking points before and after the game, and Keane will be on hand to give his verdict. But it seems his persona both on the pitch and in the studio is different to the one away from work.

Keane is a real family man. He has been married to wife Thresa Doyle for almost 28 years. The couple have five children - four girls, Shannon, Caragh, Leah and Alanna, and one boy, Aidan.

They also have grandchildren, with Keane occasionally sharing updates and pictures with the them on his Instagram channel.

It seems that there will soon be an addition to the family, with Leah, Keane’s fourth oldest child, engaged to England international and former Man City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

The relationship was kept relatively quiet, until Leah herself posted a picture of Harwood-Bellis proposing at the Almalfi Coast in Italy on Instagram last summer. She wrote: “I can’t wait to marry you.”

Harwood-Bellis scored on his senior debut for the Three Lions against Keane’s the Republic of Ireland. His future father-in-law was on punditry duty for ITV. Responding to the goal, he said: "Bittersweet for me, this.”

He then joked: "It [the wedding] is not done and dusted yet! Things can change very quickly in the Keane household.”

Adding: "No, he's a really nice kid, his family have done a good job. It's nice for him, it's good for him, he's a bit of a goal threat."

Harwod-Bellis currently plays for Southampton, however, the club looks likely to suffer relegation at the end of the season. He has recently changed agency and has been linked with a move to West Ham United in the last few days.
