SKILFUL young Inverclyde sports stars showed off their skills on the park in a top tournament.
Active Schools and Cloch Housing Association teamed up to host the Primary Girls Football Festival at Parklea.
A total of 110 girls from 11 schools across Inverclyde competed in the event, and got the chance to meet young players the length and breadth of the district.

(Image: Duncan Bryceland) Girls in primaries five to seven from Kilmacolm, Newark, All Saints, Moorfoot, St Francis, Ardgowan, St John's, St Mary's, Whinhill, St Patrick's, and St Michael's primaries all took part in the exciting event.
The young footballers all got the chance to play against each other in a series of games.
Cloch Housing Association supplied medals and water bottles for participants.

(Image: Duncan Bryceland) Michael Monaghan, Cloch Housing Association's director of customer services and communities, said the organisation was very happy to be involved.
He added: "Activities like this are really beneficial as they get the young people outside and running about.
"It's a really positive thing for the young people to be involved in.
"Helping to organise these events is a key aim for us as an association."
Michael said events like the football festival link to Cloch's key strategies as a housing association.
He added: "We're not just about bricks and mortar and providing houses - we want to build community positive engagement and work with the wider Inverclyde community."
