Ethan Horvath 6
Still puts hearts in mouths with his poor work with his feet. Almost charged down after one poor touch. Made one or two solid saves in the second half but looked uncomfortable from corners.

Great to see him back after an unimaginably tough week. One-on-one defending on point and Cardiff needed it when they were under the cosh.
Will Fish 7
Produced a couple of interceptions and blocks but still just doesn't look completely comfortable at times. Had some important moments later on.
Joel Bagan 6
Not at his accurate, precise best but didn't make a load of mistakes, either. Was taken off at the break.
Callum O'Dowda 6
Flew into one tackle with Paul Smyth which he missed and it opened Cardiff up. Attacked well early but didn't see him much up the pitch afterwards. Set-piece delivery let him down on occasion, uncharacteristically.
Sivert Mannsverk 6
Another up and down display. Was lucky not to give away a penalty - was saved by an offside flag - and lacked some quality with the ball at times. Needed his physical presence without Calum Chambers, though. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.
Rubin Colwill 6
Dropped deeper alongside Mannsverk and his defensive duties sometimes left a bit to be desired. Whistled one stunning effort past the post but struggled to link with those ahead. Did grow into it later on, though.
Isaak Davies 6
Battled and toiled but didn't have the same success he enjoyed against Sheffield Wednesday last week. Pulled at half time.
Cian Ashford 6
Same as above, really, although he did embark on one excellent run before he was cynically hauled down by Liam Morrison.
Will Alves 6
Started really brightly and it looked as though that left-hand avenue was going to be an area of positivity for Cardiff, but he quietened down after the opening. Off at the break.

Yousef Salech 7
Fashioned a couple of decent chances later on. Hammered one narrowly over the bar and might have won a penalty. Always looks dangerous even when he's not having a whole lot of joy.
Subs
Ollie Tanner (Davies 46) 6 - Ring rust is still there, that's for sure. Did OK and hammered one volley wide, but he's still not fully sharp.
Jesper Daland (Bagan 46) 7 - Looked good and assured after coming on. Added a physicality to the back line which was lacking.
Callum Robinson (Alves 46) 6 - Brought some energy but hasn't had a great deal of game time of late and it showed, put a decent headed chance way over the bar.
Yakou Meite (Ashford 66) 7 - Definitely made an impact after coming on. Used his strength, height and close control to play others into the game. Headed a corner just over the bar. He could still have a big say in proceedings over the next six games.
