A Salisbury optician is raising funds for the England women's beach soccer team.

Mark Jones Eye Care is supporting the team as they prepare for their next major tournament in Spain.

The team is entirely self-funded, so the optician is launching a fundraiser to help cover the costs of training, travel, and equipment.

"To rally support, we are offering donors the chance to win a pair of premium Maui Jim sunglasses, worth up to £450 each.

"Thanks to our partnership with Maui Jim, we have two pairs of luxury sunglasses to give away – and entering couldn’t be easier."

To donate, go to crowdfunder.co.uk/p/mark-jones--england-ladies.

Each donation made will increase the donor's chance of winning the sunglasses, with £5 equating to one entry, £10 to three entries, £25 to eight entries, and £50 to 20 entries.

The winners will be selected at random and will receive a personal appointment with Carl Hearse-Jones at Mark Jones Eye Care to choose and be fitted with their dream pair of Maui Jim sunglasses.

Entries close on Friday, May 16 and the winners will be drawn live on Saturday, May 17.
