ALL eyes are still firmly on navigating Sky Bet Championship survival this season, but Oxford United have discovered when the fixtures will be released for the 2025/26 campaign.

The EFL have announced that next season’s fixtures will be released at 9am on June 26.

That’s the date when all clubs across the Championship, League One and League Two will find out their schedule for the 2025/26 campaign.

The 2055/26 season will then get underway over the weekend of August 8-10 for the Championship, and across the weekend of August 1-3 for both League One and League Two.

The final games of next season have then been pencilled in for the weekend of May 2-3, 2026.

The June fixture release day will also include the draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup, with round one scheduled for w/c August 11.

United enjoyed a memorable opening day of the campaign this season, beating Norwich City 2-0 at the Kassam Stadium in their first game back in the second tier for more than 25 years.

Mark Harris and Cameron Brannagan scored that afternoon, while the U’s progressed to the second round of the Carabao Cup, where they were beaten 1-0 at Coventry City.
