The 2025/26 fixture list will be released at 9am on Thursday, June 26 and the first round of League One fixtures will be played between Friday, August 1 and Sunday, August 3.
If Wanderers can secure promotion, the Championship campaign kicks off a week later between Friday, August 8 and Sunday, August 10.
Bolton began the current campaign with a 2-1 victory at Leyton Orient, with Victor Adeboyejo scoring a late winner at Brisbane Road.
The draw for the opening round of the League Cup will also take place on fixture release day and first-round ties will be held on the week commencing Monday, August 11.

The draw for the Vertu Trophy group stage will also take place on June 26 and that competition will run from early September.

Bolton have reached the quarter-final stage for the last three seasons but suffered a narrow defeat at Wrexham this term.
The final games of the regular 2025/26 season will take place on the weekend of Saturday, May 3 and play-off dates have also been confirmed.
The Championship play-off final will be held on Saturday, May 23 and the League One final will take place a day later. The League Two final will also be played on the same weekend.
