Ange Postecoglou has a decision to make over whether to play Micky van de Ven against Fulham as Tottenham manage his minutes following his return to fitness.

Van de Ven started and played an hour of Thursday’s Europa League win over AZ Alkmaar, but could be taken back out of the team for the trip to Craven Cottage.

If Van de Ven does not start, Archie Gray could come into the team at centre-back with Kevin Danso out.

Postecoglou has confirmed he will make changes to his side against Fulham.

“Yeah I think so, I think we need to,” he said. “We saw how hard it is backing up. Sunday-Thursday isn't too hard but Thursday-Sunday is a massive task.

“It helps that we were at home and with us having a more healthy squad it's good for us to make some changes.”

Rodrigo Bentancur is available after missing the win over AZ Alkmaar through suspension.

Lucas Bergvall could be rested, given he appeared to cramp up towards the end on Thursday.

Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison remain sidelined.

Asked how the squad was looking ahead of the trip to Fulham, Postecoglou said on Friday: “(It's looking) pretty good. (There's) nothing (to report) from last night. Everyone got through it well.”

Tottenham predicted XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Spence, Van de Ven, Gray, Udogie; Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Tel

Injured: Kulusevski, Danso, Dragusin, Richarlison

Time and date: 1:30pm on Sunday 16 March, 2025
