NFL free agency is now officially underway.

The new league year began at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, allowing free agents to put pen to paper on contracts. But by the time free agency opened, most of the top players on the open market had already been scooped up.

The legal tampering period that started on Monday saw top offensive names like quarterback Sam Darnold (Seattle Seahawks), quarterback Justin Fields (New York Jets), running back Najee Harris (Los Angeles Chargers), wideout Chris Godwin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. (Tennessee Titans) agree to deals.

On the defensive side, standouts like defensive tackle Milton Williams (New England Patriots), pass rusher Khalil Mack (Chargers), defensive end Josh Sweat (Arizona Cardinals), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (Denver Broncos), safety Jevon Holland (New York Giants) and cornerback Byron Murphy (Minnesota Vikings) also struck free-agent pacts.

Meanwhile, some notable veterans released ahead of free agency weren't available for long. Wideout Davante Adams (Los Angeles Rams), defensive tackle Jonathan Allen (Vikings), defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (Chicago Bears), defensive end Joey Bosa (Buffalo Bills), pass rusher Harold Landry (Patriots) and cornerback Darius Slay (Pittsburgh Steelers) have all found new homes.

So, which other notable free agents have agreed to deals? And who's still available? Stay updated here with a position-by-position breakdown.
