The 2025 NFL free agency period is off to a wild start.
A flurry of moves quickly followed once the legal tampering period opened on Monday, marking the unofficial start of free agency. The early action was headlined by a pair of quarterbacks changing teams, with Sam Darnold reportedly joining the Seattle Seahawks and Justin Fields reportedly going to the New York Jets.
The New England Patriots entered the day with a league-high $100 million-plus in cap space -- and they certainty didn't wait around to spend it. After landing pass rusher Harold Landry on Sunday, New England continued to beef up its defense by reportedly bringing in defensive tackle Milton Williams, linebacker Robert Spillane and cornerback Carlton Davis.
The Chicago Bears, meanwhile, made a few splashes in the trenches with the reported additions of center Drew Dalman, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and pass rusher Dayo Odeyingbo. And the Indianapolis Colts strengthened their secondary by reportedly striking deals with cornerback Charvarius Ward and safety Camryn Bynum.
So, which other notable free agents have been scooped up? And who's still on the market? Stay tuned here with an updated position-by-position breakdown:
