OXFORD United fans roared their team to victory as the U’s upset the odds by beating Sheffield United.
Siriki Dembele scored the only goal of the game at the Kassam Stadium seven minutes before half-time, taking advantage of the Blades failing to clear a long throw-in by nipping in to finish from inside the six-yard box.

United then defended resolutely in the second half, with countless blocks, clearances and interceptions helping to get the job done.
Each defensive action was cheered louder and louder by the U’s faithful, with the noise inside Grenoble Road reaching fever pitch at the culmination of six minutes of stoppage time.
