Jack Bycroft felt that Swindon Town's superior fitness levels made the difference in their 4-0 win over Fleetwood Town.
Kabongo Tshimanga netted from the spot in the first half, before Miguel Freckleton and Nnamdi Ofoborh, along with an own goal from Rhys Bennett, saw them to a big victory in Lancashire.
Bycroft said that he felt it was the fitness of his teammates that told to get them a big win over a playoff chasing side.
He said: "I think you can see that we were a lot fitter than they were, and we ran all over them.
"Even in the last two minutes of the game, we were pressing up and chasing the ball into their corner, and they gave us a throw-in.
"It definitely paid off what the boys are working on all week.
"We came here with a game plan, we did that, and everyone did their job today. From one to 11, we were great.
"I felt that we were organised and we were composed; I think that everyone who travelled would have seen our game plan today.
"I just think that we were really solid. Even if the backline changes and whoever is in it, I think that we all know our jobs and our roles.
"Even in the last 20 [minutes], Harry [Smith] is back there and he doesn't look out of place at all.
"You can see that organisation as a unit, and everyone knows what they should be doing, and having that really helps."
Returning to the side for the first time since Port Vale, Bycroft made a number of saves at key times in the game.
The boyhood Town fan said that it meant a lot the reception that he got from the travelling support.
He said: "I found out during the week that I would be playing as Rips [Connor Ripley] fell ill.
"I felt the love today, and it was a nice moment [to have the fans singing my name.]
"Having been sitting out and when I was last playing we were six or seven unbeaten, which was nice and the mood was high.
"Coming from where we have come from this season at the start was tough and everyone was frustrated, and rightly so.
"Everyone has got their opinions and that is more than okay, but it was a really nice feeling today. I felt that love."
