Liverpool's Premier League title hunt continues later today, with the Reds travelling to the capital to take on Fulham.

Diogo Jota scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool picked up a huge 1-0 against Merseyside rivals Everton midweek, with the victory ensuring the Reds enter the weekend 12 points ahead of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League. If Arsenal were to win every game between now and the end of the season, the Reds only need four more wins to lift the trophy, and Arne Slot will be hoping to only require three more after their clash with Fulham this afternoon.

The last meeting between the two sides saw Liverpool draw 2-2 with the Cottagers, with Cody Gakpo and Jota getting on the scoresheet after Andrew Robertson was sent off in the 17th minute. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are guaranteed absentees once again, while Curtis Jones and Caoimhin Kelleher may retain their spots in the starting XI with Alisson and Conor Bradley touch-and-go once again.

Fulham vs Liverpool score predicted

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Fulham could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Iwobi, Smith Rowe, Sessegnon; Muniz.

We predict that Liverpool could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Alisson; Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Jota.

A strong start from Liverpool saw the Reds race into an early lead, with Ryan Gravenberch picking out Mohamed Salah on the right flank who picked out the far corner of the net with a wonderful curling effort. Despite scoring three minutes in, the Reds struggled to get going once again after the restart, allowing Fulham to take control and have a few chances of their own.

Rodrigo Muniz hit the post either side of half-time with the Cottagers unlucky not to be level, while some good defending from Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk kept the Reds' lead intact. As the game went on, the pressure from the hosts became stronger, but against the run of play, it was Slot's side who scored next to give Liverpool a much-needed two-goal lead.

Fulham failed to clear a corner as the ball frantically pinballed around the box and back into Liverpool's hands. Shots from Van Dijk and Luis Diaz were both blocked in quick succession, but it was third time lucky for the Reds as Jota blasted the ball into the roof of the net to make it 2-0 late on.

EA FC 25 predicted final score: Fulham 0-2 Liverpool
