THOMAS Frank admired Newcastle's Carabao Cup celebrations from afar and the Brentford boss told of his delight for the Magpies and their supporters after their Wembley success.
Frank described Newcastle's trophy win as an "incredible achievement", with the victory over Liverpool followed by scenes and celebrations that will live long in the memory.
It's been two and a half weeks since Newcastle last played but Frank isn't expecting any sort of a hangover when United face his Brentford at St James' Park tonight.
If anything, he's anticipating the direct opposite.
“I’m pretty sure they will come flying out under the floodlights for a celebration," he said.
"They will be trying everything they can to hunt down that Champions League spot.”
