Audio experts measured the noise during the Nations League play-off second leg against Greece at Hampden Park last weekend.

Despite Scotland's 3-0 defeat to Greece, the Glasgow crowd maintained an average decibel level of 90dB throughout the evening, equivalent to an electric drill.

The atmosphere at the national stadium reached 100dB when Scott McTominay's name was announced, a noise level similar to a jackhammer.

When the teams came out, the noise reached ambulance siren levels of 115dB.

Levels peaked during the national anthem, Flower of Scotland, reaching 121db, which is equivalent to a jet engine.
