Chelsea have received multiple key injury boosts ahead of their return to Premier League action against rivals Tottenham this week.

A Thursday night London derby at Stamford Bridge kicks off a hectic season run-in for Enzo Maresca’s side, who also face Brentford, Ipswich, Fulham and Everton in the top-flight in April in addition to their two-legged Conference League quarter-final tie against Legia Warsaw.

The Blues are currently embroiled in a fierce battle for a top-four finish, currently occupying fourth spot but only a point ahead of Manchester City, with Newcastle and Brighton just two further back.

Maresca will be desperate for his side to rediscover some consistency and momentum in the weeks ahead after a win over former club Leicester was followed by a dismal performance in defeat at Arsenal before the international break.

With that Spurs game approaching fast, here’s all the latest Chelsea injury news and return dates including positive updates on Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke. Mykhailo Mudryk remains unavailable.

Cole Palmer

Palmer had been struggling with illness and missed a penalty against Leicester before missing out altogether against Arsenal with a hamstring injury and being sent for multiple scans.

Despite that setback, Maresca said the rest would likely do his star man good amid a disappointing run of form that has seen him fail to register a single goal or an assist in his last 10 appearances across all competitions.

Chelsea were said to be optimistic over a swift return for Palmer, who pulled out of Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad, though his continued absence from training despite the return of Jackson caused some consternation before he then was seen back on the grass at Cobham on Friday.

Potential return date: Thursday, April 3 vs Tottenham (H)

Nicolas Jackson

The first of three injury boosts for Chelsea during the international break emerged on Wednesday after Jackson was seen taking part in full team training at Cobham, having previously been doing individual drills.

The Senegal forward had been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the win over West Ham at the start of February that was expected to keep him sidelined for six to eight weeks.

Like Palmer, Jackson now appears firmly on track to hand Chelsea a timely attacking boost for the visit of Tottenham.

Noni Madueke

Madueke joined Palmer and Jackson in returning to Chelsea training last week, having been out since sustaining his own hamstring injury in the dismal 3-0 defeat at Brighton on February 14.

It means Maresca could get the chance to field his first-choice attack from the off against Spurs.

Marc Guiu

Guiu had been firing in the goals for Chelsea in the Conference League, but was also injured in the same game as Jackson at the start of February.

Maresca expected him to be out for a “little while” with his own hamstring issue, with fresh updates few and far between since then.

Potential return date: April/May

Omari Kellyman

Summer signing from Aston Villa has yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea after suffering a setback in his recovery from a serious hamstring injury earlier this month and been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Potential return date: Summer 2025
