It was a decent performance but no points for Everton last weekend. In their next game, they have a brilliant chance to achieve both.
The Blues did well for large spells of their showdown with Arsenal last Friday at Walton Hall Park, although they eventually slipped to a 3-1 loss.
Brian Sorensen will be keen to take the positives from the display though and will be confident of getting a victory under their belt against rock bottom Crystal Palace. The Women's Super League game against the Eagles gets underway at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Mjelde makes plea to supporters
Maren Mjelde knows how important Saturday's game is. Ahead of it, she's asked supporters to get down to Walton Hall Park and make their voices heard.
Palace have struggled for form all season, but a victory on Merseyside would move them to within four points of the Blues. Victory for Everton would all end any lingering relegation fears.
"It is an important game," Mjelde told Everton's official website. "Every game is important no matter who you are playing against, but it is our next game and it is against a team that won their last game.
"They are going to bring confidence in to the game. But, I feel we are in good form and have had some good results recently. We want to bounce back from the defeat to Arsenal. I think we are capable of a good performance on Saturday.
"It was amazing going out for the warm-up against Arsenal and seeing so many Everton fans. Those are the games that we love to play. The support that we get is amazing – that is what we need."
Wheeler delighted to be back
One major boost for the Blues from Friday's loss was the return of Clare Wheeler.
The Australian international has been sidelined for the last six weeks due to injury. She was introduced as a second-half substitute for Justine Vanhaevermaet, playing the final 28 minutes of the defeat to the Gunners.
Afterwards, she said it was "amazing" to get back on the pitch and emphasised that the mood in the camp was good despite the loss to the Gunners.
"There are some positives to take," she said. "Toni [Payne] getting her first goal - I'm really happy for her, she puts so much effort in for the team and she's been such a key new signing for us this year.
"There's still everything to play for. Hopefully back here [against Palace] with the fans cheering us on."
McTavish moves on
Everton confirmed the departure of Everton Women CEO Alan McTavish in a statement last week, as sweeping changes to continue to be made off the pitch at the club.
"The Club wishes Alan every success in the next step of his career," read a section of a short statement on the club website. "A further announcement on the Club's leadership structure for Everton Women will be made in due course."
