Gary Lineker believes Marcus Rashford looks to be enjoying himself at Aston Villa since signing on loan from Manchester United during the latter stages of the winter transfer window.

Rashford has played in all nine matches since making the move, predominantly as a substitute, and has four assists from the left wing. The most recent came on Wednesday night when he set up fellow January signing Marco Asensio to score number three against Club Brugge to secure Villa a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Despite having yet to score, the player's performances have caught the eye. Lineker is the latest to hail how Rashford is playing in claret and blue.

"Rashford looks like he's enjoying himself and looks sharp and dangerous every time I see him play, and very creative," Lineker said on the latest episode of The Rest is Football following the Champions League round of 16 second legs. However, it is seemingly not only Rashford enjoying himself, with several Man United players liking what he is doing at Villa.

Alejandro Garnacho, Amad, Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, Diogo Dalot, Ethan Wheatley and Joshua Zirkzee liked his Instagram post after the Brugge game. Former team-mates Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial, David De Gea and Sofyan Amrabat also did alongside former United player Patrice Evra.

Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe also acknowledged in a wide-ranging interview with the BBC earlier this week to being pleased with how the player was now performing since the switch. "He's moved out of Manchester, and maybe that's a good thing for him," Ratcliffe said.

"I am very pleased he is doing well. It's good to see because he has tremendous talent, but for whatever reason, it wasn't working in Manchester for the past couple of seasons. But he is a very talented footballer, Rashford."
