WORCESTER Warriors have reportedly named Matt Everard as the man to lead them into their new era, should their RFU tier two inclusion be confirmed.
Last week (March 7), the club confirmed that they had 'fully complied' with all requirements set by the RFU to ensure their entry into the new second tier, which launches in the 2025/26 season.
The club went on to say: "We appreciate the patience and support of our fans, partners, and wider Rugby community throughout this journey, and we look forward to announcing the outcome of our application as soon as we can in the coming weeks."
Should they be successful in their application, it was initially thought that Harvey Biljon was leading the race to become the side's head coach.

However the deal did not get over the line and the club have instead opted for 34-year-old former flanker Everard, according to Rugby Pass.
Everard already holds significant links to Worcester's majority shareholder - Chris Holland, from their days together at Wasps.
Everard's first role in coaching was as the head coach of Nottingham's academy. He then spent five years with Wasps, before joining up with his former club Leicester as defence coach - a position he left in February of this year.
