Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu appeared to tell referee Benoit Bastien to overturn his penalty decision during their win over Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
Ruben Amorim's side progressed to the last-eight of the competition after a 4-1 win over the 10-man Spaniards. It was a captain's performance from Bruno Fernandes as his treble saw off the challenge from the La Liga outfit.
United endured a nightmare start after Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring from the spot. The Sociedad captain was awarded a penalty following an intervention from VAR after he was adjudged to have been brought down by Matthijs de Ligt.

The French official was in the thick of the action as he awarded three more efforts from 12 yards, the first of which arrived just four minutes after the visitors took the lead and again just five minutes into the second-half.
Fernandes dispatched both efforts and was handed a third opportunity in the latter stages. Patrick Dorgu went down in the box under the challenge from Hamari Traore, however the former Leece defender appeared to tell the referee that it wasn't a penalty and the decision was overturned.
Robbie Savage was part of the TNT Sports commentary team at Old Trafford and he said: "I thought he played the man first then the ball, my first impression.
"Traore with the challenge, no hesitation from the referee once again. The big question is... obviously he's won the ball first then. Yeah he's just won the ball, good challenge."
Despite being denied the chance to scored a third penalty, Fernandes still claimed the match ball as he expertly found the bottom corner with a superb finish before his fellow countryman Diogo Dalot rounded off the scoring - rubberstamping a quarterfinal date against Lyon with a thumping first-time strike.
