Manchester United are unlikely to be making a summer transfer move for Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez despite January transfer links earlier this season. The Reds signed Patrick Dorgu before the window closed, bolstering Ruben Amorim's options on that side of the pitch, with Luke Shaw now nearing a return from injury.
Fabrizio Romano claims United's move for Dorgu now rules out a summer switch to Old Trafford for the Hungarian international, with Liverpool among those keen on his signature. The Manchester Evening News reported in January that Kerkez was on the club's list of targets prior to Dorgu's arrival.
The left-back changed agencies earlier this season, with question marks over his long-term future at the Vitality Stadium after an impressive campaign with the Cherries. The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in Andoni Iraola's side this season, with two goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, helping Bournemouth in their quest for European football.

Kerkez is understood to be on Liverpool's radar as a possible replacement for the long-serving Andy Robertson, with United unlikely to make a move. Speaking about United's summer plans and interest in Kerkez, Romano told his " target="_blank" class="link"> YouTube channel: "After Milos Kerkez changed agency in January, going with Fali Ramadani, with LIAN Spots, a very important agency, the situation is very clear: he’s looking for a top club for the summer transfer window.
“In the summer he’s expected to be one of the players on the way out. There are many clubs interested in Milos Kerkez."
“Man United signed Patrick Dorgu, so that position is not expected to be covered again,” Romano added. “Liverpool are tracking the player and have been monitoring him. For sure he will be one to watch in the transfer window.”
“Fali Ramadani is a very connected agent, he was the agent who brought Federico Chiesa to Liverpool. So, we have to see the connections and see what’s going to happen.
“But Kerkez will certainly be one to watch in the summer transfer window.”
