Manchester United are in Premier League action tonight as they take on Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim’s side will be looking to build on a 2-2 draw with Everton in their last outing on Saturday. That game saw United come back from 2-0 down at half time to grab a point from the game.
The match against Ipswich will see the return of former assistant manager Kieran McKenna to Old Trafford. The now Ipswich boss was with United since 2016, being promoted to assistant manager in 2018, before leaving to take the role at Ipswich in December 2021.

After leading his club to back-to-back promotions over the last two seasons, he now faces a fight to keep the club in the Premier League. United will be looking to make that task even harder, in what is the reverse fixture of Amorim’s first game in charge of the club.
That match ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams hoping to go one better this time around. Ahead of the game against the Tractor Boys, two members of United’s squad have hinted at their involvement.
Full-back Diogo Dalot has been a virtual ever-present under Amorim and has hinted that it will continue by sharing a pre-match graphic on his Instagram story. Another player who will be hoping to be in the starting line-up is winger Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine was a second-half substitute against Everton and made a big impact off the bench, meaning he could be considered in the starting line-up against Ipswich.
Garnacho has also shared a pre-match graphic on his Instagram story, hinting at his involvement in the game. Should he play, he will be looking to get his first goal in the Premier League under Amorim, with him last netting in the 3-0 win over Leicester City back in November.
United currently sit in 15th position in the Premier League table. Three points could see them climb one position and above Everton, depending on how they get on in their clash vs Brentford.
