Not only is Miami's Cam Ward still the favorite to be chosen first in the 2025 NFL Draft, his odds are getting shorter as draft day gets closer.
As a matter of fact, Ward has moved to -700 from -320 over the last week.
Let's take a look at the odds to be the first pick in the 2025 draft at FanDuel Sportsbook as of March 18.
2025 NFL DRAFT NO. 1 PICK ODDS:

Cam Ward, Miami: -700 (bet $10 to win $11.43 total)
Abdul Carter, Penn State: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Travis Hunter, Colorado: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)
Hurricanes' quarterback Cam Ward moved to -700 from -320 over the last week and from +750 since the end of November.
At the NFL combine, which was held Feb. 27 through Mar. 2 in Indianapolis, Cam Ward told reporters that he would be "plug and play" if he got drafted to Tennessee.
The Titans have the first pick in next month's draft.
"Everyone loves Penn State’s Abdul Carter, and understandably so," FOX Sports betting analyst and "The Herd" co-host Jason McIntyre wrote in the third version of his mock draft. "But I’m going to keep Ward here throughout the process unless something massive emerges off the field or in the medicals."

Second on the board is the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and 2024 unanimous All-American Abdul Carter.
He moved to +380 from +210 over the last week.
According to comments that Carter made after the Eagles defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, he thinks he should be the first pick.
In the big game, Philly forced Patrick Mahomes into two interceptions — including a pick-six — and also forced two fumbles by the Chiefs, one of which the Eagles recovered. Additionally, the Eagles sacked Mahomes six times on the day.
To Carter's point, defense certainly had something to do with this championship.
And for bettors deciding where to put their money in this market, here's some additional context that could be helpful. FOX Sports lead college football analyst Joel Klatt projects that Carter will be the fourth player drafted.
"You might be thinking there's no way Carter falls this far. Well, the Patriots would love this," Klatt wrote. "This would be a great scenario for them. Adding Carter would help further build that unit up.
"There's just no way I'd take an offensive lineman with Carter still on the board. He's just too good."
