Arne Slot has provided an injury update on Connor Bradley ahead of Liverpool's Premier League clash against Newcastle United on Wednesday.
The Reds head into the game rejuvenated on the back of last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Manchester City that saw them move 11 points clear at the top of the table, albeit Liverpool has played a game more than rivals Arsenal.
The Gunners face a tricky trip to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday while Slot’s side hosts Newcastle in a dress rehearsal of next month’s Carabao Cup final. But Liverpool will be without Conor Bradley once again.

The Northern Irish defender limped out of last week’s 2-2 draw at Aston Villa, just 23 minutes after his introduction from the bench. Slot said afterwards that he expected Bradley to miss at least the Newcastle and City games, and speaking in Tuesday’s press conference at Kirkby, the Liverpool boss confirmed Bradley won't be back any time soon.
"Conor doesn’t [train with us], he will be out for a few weeks. I cannot tell exactly how many but it was clear he went off with a muscle injury. That’s going to take a while before he is back," said Slot.
The Dutchman also said Alexis Mac Allister should be fine after he ended the City game with a black eye. "I think he will [be fine]. He will train with us today."
However, there was no news on Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota and whether either of the attackers are ready to start against Newcastle. Gakpo has not started the last three Premier League matches due to an ankle injury he sustained in the Merseyside derby two weeks ago, but came off the bench in the latter stages on Sunday at the Etihad.
Slot also revealed after the City win that Diogo Jota told the Liverpool boss ‘he wasn’t fully recovered yet, so he couldn’t start’. It came after the Portugal international started two Premier League matches in a row against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Villa.
Slot has referenced on several occasions that he needs to manage Jota’s minutes to prevent a recurrence of the injury issues that have plagued his season.
Meanwhile, Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton are Liverpool’s only other injury issues, with the pair undergoing surgery in recent weeks.
