Turkish champions Galatasaray can today extend their lead over bitter rivals Fenerbahce when the two Istanbul giants meet.

Last year’s title winners sit six points clear of Jose Mourinho’s side and could move a major step towards winning another crown should they avoid defeat.

Still, Gala went out of the Europa League in slightly surprising fashion last week, despite having looked strong during the initial League phase.

With that in mind, things will need to improve for them at Rams Park this afternoon, albeit they are unbeaten in the league this season.

Mourinho, meanwhile, is attempting to overthrow his great rivals as he bids to win yet another title. While six points is hardly insurmountable, failing to win today would leave the Portuguese coach needing something approaching a miracle between now and the end of the season.

While any meeting between the two giants is dramatic enough, Monday’s clash has an added level of intrigue. Indeed, Slovenian official Slavko Vincic has been appointed as the referee, the first time a foreign referee has been appointed to oversee a game in the Turkish Super Lig.

Given all of Mourinho’s comments about the standard of refereeing in Turkey, it will be fascinating to see how it plays out.

Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch.
