Wanderers supporters snapped up their full allocation of tickets for the upcoming League One trip to Wrexham in rapid time.

Tickets for the trip to the Racecourse Ground on Saturday, March 1 (12.30pm) went on sale to season ticket holders at 10am on Thursday morning.

Bolton received the full allocation of 1,284 seats and it only took 32 minutes before the club confirmed they had sold out.

The support is even more impressive given the Whites only played at Wrexham on Tuesday night in the Vertu Trophy quarter-final.

An official update read: “Tickets for Wanderers' upcoming trip to Wrexham in Sky Bet League One have now sold out.

“The Whites make the trip to the STōK Racecourse on Saturday 1st March in a 12.30pm kick off and the full allocation of 1,284 tickets has now been snapped up within hours, with Wanderers set to be backed by another sold out away end.

“Thank you for your magnificent support.”

Wrexham currently sit third in the League One table as they aim to build on back-to-back promotion from the National League under ex-Bolton boss Phil Parkinson.

The Red Dragons are four points off the automatic promotion spots heading towards the business end of the campaign.

The points were shared when Wanderers faced Wrexham in the league earlier this season following a goalless draw at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

The Welsh outfit secured a narrow victory in the Trophy on Tuesday night, with Andy Cannon getting the decisive goal 20 minutes from time to secure a home semi-final against Peterborough.

Before the Wrexham fixture, Wanderers have league games against Shrewsbury and Leyton Orient to contend with.

Steven Schumacher’s men currently sit in eighth place and only two points off the play-offs, but Huddersfield have a game in hand at this stage.
