Ruben Amorim is unlikely to make too many changes to the Manchester United team against Newcastle ahead of Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final second leg against Lyon.
Injuries limit the options available to Amorim, who does not have any players back for the trip to St James’ Park.
Amorim is still without Matthijs de Ligt, Amad Diallo, Jonny Evans, Ayden Heaven, Lisandro Martinez and Toby Collyer.
Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount could be brought in to freshen up the United attack, while Kobbie Mainoo returned to the squad for Thursday's first leg with Lyon.
Andre Onana will remain in goal despite two more costly errors against Lyon, as United drew 2-2.
Bruno Fernandes has been involved for 4,078 of a possible 4,470 minutes this season and Amorim was asked this week about the prospect of giving the midfielder a rest.
But Amorim insists United still have a “great responsibility” to win games in the Premier League and said: “Of course, I'm going to be careful with some players, but we need to be competitive.
“When you are playing for Manchester United, you cannot go to the game thinking about the next one. We have to face Newcastle with a team that we can be competitive, and to win the game."
Victor Lindelof has come off the bench to replace Harry Maguire twice this week and could come in at centre-back.
