THE LOCAL Boys' Brigade scene made a splash in Inverclyde recently in a hotly contested swimming gala.
The event saw boys from BB companies across the area meet to compete in the Boys Brigade Inverclyde and District Battalion Swimming Gala on Sunday, March 23.

(Image: Supplied) The event, held at Port Glasgow Swimming Pool, saw troops compete in multiple disciplines.
Those included Freestyle, Breaststroke and relay races, in a high standard of competition shared across all the athletes involved.
And after a high quality competition, only one team could come out on top - at least in the junior section event.

The performances of those representing 2nd Gourock Company saw them scoop up the top gong in the junior races.
However, there were joint winners in the Company Section Team competition.
The top gong would remain in Port Glasgow as both 2nd and 4th Port Glasgow Companies shared the top gong at the end of a competitive day of action.
