Former Chelsea and Republic of Ireland midfielder Andy Townsend has hinted at a possible future move for Brendan Rodgers.
The Celtic manager, according to Townsend, might eventually return south or venture abroad despite his success in Scotland.
Speaking to Boylesports.com, Townsend said: "Brendan Rodgers is more than capable of getting Premier League jobs given what he did at Liverpool and Leicester and then had even more success at Celtic.
"He might even fancy a stint abroad, but this time he won’t leave Celtic for a Leicester."

Townsend believes the 52-year-old Irishman, who is eyeing a third treble in two spells at Celtic, is highly regarded in the football world.
He added: "They did really well in the Champions League, and I was really impressed with the way they went about it and the way they played."
The former Chelsea academy youth coach has had stints at Watford, Reading, Swansea City, and Liverpool.
He last coached in England at Leicester City during the 2022/23 season.
Townsend thinks Rodgers would only be tempted by big jobs, saying: "Say the Chelsea job becomes available; he’d be tempted, and you understand.
"But if Andoni Iraola leaves Bournemouth, I don’t think he’d go for that role, as good as Bournemouth are."
On Sunday, Rodgers' Celtic were defeated 1-0 by St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park, courtesy of a goal by Daniels Balodis.
However, their 13-point lead at the top of the league table was sustained due to Rangers' 2-0 loss to Hibernian at Ibrox on Saturday.
