Spain and the Netherlands have it all to play for in tonight's UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg.

In a hugely entertaining first leg showdown on Thursday, the reigning European champions took an early lead when Nico Williams found the back of the net.

Justin Kluivert teed up Cody Gakpo for the equaliser just before the half hour mark before Tijjani Reijnders put the Dutch ahead 39 seconds into the second half.

However, with seconds left on the clock Bart Verbruggen spilled an effort from Williams and Arsenal's Mikel Merino was the quickest to react and tapped home to extend Spain's unbeaten run to 22 competitive games across all competitions.

As a result, this quarter-final tie is finely poised as the two European heavyweights collide at Valencia's Mestalla Stadium tonight with the winners advancing to the semi-final to face either France or Croatia.
