Mayo bid to complete a remarkable turnaround in recent weeks as they close their Allianz Football League campaign out with a home clash against Donegal.
Kevin McStay’s side are in the unique position of being able to reach the Division One final, but can still be relegated if results don’t go their way this afternoon.
Mayo claimed three points from their opening four games, but back-to-back wins over Kerry and Derry has given them a strong chance of staying in the top flight.

They’ll be safe with a win or a draw, but a heavy defeat coupled with wins for Tyrone, Armagh and Kerry could see them join Derry in Division Two next season.
Should the four teams in relegation danger all win, Mayo would top the table.
Donegal have no such relegation concerns and can reach the Division One final with a win, although Dublin and Galway now boost a better scoring difference.
Jim McGuinness’s side are in Ulster SFC action against Derry on April 6 and it remains to be seen if the 2024 provincial champions really want to contest the Division One final one week out from their Championship opener.
