Reading Football Club have confirmed that they are looking to 'work with' Rob Couhig to resolve the ongoing off-field crisis.
On Friday morning, Mr Couhig won his case with the club and is not required to return the securities against Bearwood and the football club, as decided by a judge in court on Friday morning.
However, Mr Justice Jacobs suggested a work-around, with the funds from any potential sale to be put into an escrow account to act as security for another party, namely Mr Robert Platek who remains in talks.

"The Club acknowledges the Judge’s clear indication that the parties should find a solution to the current impasse regarding the sale of the Club by way of its owners providing alternative security or a payment into escrow," a club statement read.
"To allow a sale to proceed, the Club looks forward to working with Mr Couhig to resolve this element of his claim.
"Mr Dai remains committed to working with the EFL to sell the Club and secure its long-term future."
Another case with Mr Couhig is due in court in June for allegedly breaching exclusivity rules and a loss of potential profits for the former Wycombe Wanderers owner.
