STAMFORD Vikings are celebrating a double-winning campaign.
The club were first crowned the York and District Division 3 champions after a 46-32 victory over RI Blizzard in their final league match, seeing them finish the season having won 11 of their 12 matches.
Just two weeks later, they faced second-placed Selby Thunder, claiming the Plate Tournament title with a 34-27 win in a well-attended match at the new court facilities in Low Catton Road.

The squad, consisting of nine players, have competed from September to March, with their commitment throughout the season key to the success they have achieved for the club.
To maintain their commitment, the team has entered a summer league, which they will contest ahead of their promotion to the Division 2 Winter League in September.
