HAXBY Town are the Timclad York Sunday Morning League champions.
The league came to a dramatic conclusion recently, with Haxby pipping second-placed Wigginton Grasshoppers to the title by one point.
A remarkable 12-1 victory against third-placed Thorpe United Reds aided Haxby to their title, with the help of a hat-trick from Casey Stewart, and an incredible four goals from Dan Davison.
A run of fixtures which Haxby had in hand on Wigginton helped them to silverware, despite the runner-ups leading for large parts of the season.
Haxby's season does not come to an end there, with Town playing in the Sunday Morning County Cup final tonight against Belle Vue Rovers at Stokesley Sports Club (7.30pm).
At the other end of the table, Malt Shovel have been relegated alongside Heworth Inn, after both teams managed just six points all season.
In Division Two, Bramham Lions and Thorpe United Veterans have been promoted, with Selby Olympia unable to catch the Vets, despite having one game still to play.
