Rotherham United manager Steve Evans firmly believes Wycombe Wanderers will achieve promotion to the Championship this season.
The two will meet in South Yorkshire this evening [Tuesday, March 18], with the Chairboys sitting third in the League One table, three points behind second place Wrexham.
The Adams Park team had been in the top two for large portion of the season, but five wins from their last 14 league outings has seen form stutter as we head into the end of the campaign.
Despite this inconsistency, Evans believes Wanderers will achieve promotion by securing a spot in the top two.
Speaking to the Rotherham Advertiser, he said: “Tuesday is a real test for us.
"Wycombe, for me, are a team that will be promoted.
“I think that they and Birmingham City will be the two that go up automatically.
"I think Wrexham will also grace the Championship because they're good enough to be promoted in the play-offs."
On the game itself, which will kick-off at 7.45pm, he added: “We have to make sure we've got fresh legs.
“If we're not fresh against Wycombe, it will be a long night."
Wycombe are unbeaten in their last seven visits to Rotherham, with their last defeat coming in 2000.
Additionally, in the 22 games between the two sides, Wanderers have kept a staggering 11 clean sheets.
The last time both teams scored in the same game was back in March 2013, with the clash ending 2-2 at Adams Park.
