England complete their 2025 Six Nations campaign away against Wales this afternoon.

The middle match on Super Saturday sees Steve Borthwick’s side trying to hold up their end of the bargain in the three-way title race after Ireland have battled Italy in Rome and before favourites France tackle Scotland in Paris.

England likely need to win in Cardiff with a bonus point and hope that Les Bleus then slip up later in the evening to win their first Six Nations championship since 2020.

However, Wales have looked mostly much better under Warren Gatland’s interim successor Matt Sherratt, giving back-to-back defending champions Ireland a stern test at home before a spirited second-half fightback against Scotland at Murrayfield in round four saw them ultimately scoop two potentially pivotal bonus points in their battle with Italy to avoid a second successive wooden spoon.

Borthwick has made multiple personnel and positional changes in order to get the job done at the Principality Stadium, including a swift return to starting duties for Marcus Smith, a place on the wing for Tom Roebuck and a move into the centres for Tommy Freeman.
