A Wanderers fan is running the 22-mile journey from Stockport to Bolton today for their big match against promotion rivals.
Alexander Greensmith, aged 26, has followed his club since 2004, attending his first game in 2005, which was a one-nil loss to Manchester City at the then-Reebok Arena.
Hailing from Hyde in Manchester, he supports the side because of Stelios Giannakopoulos, a Bolton player who was a member of Greece's Euro 2004 winning side.
"My mum is half Greek Cypriot so I was supporting them during the tournament, saying they were going to win, but then they shocked everyone and actually did," he said.

When the tournament was over, Alex started attending Bolton games to watch his new-found idol play.
Two decades later, as part of a fundraising spree that has included running to and from football grounds in London, he is running from Stockport to today's fixture.

"To be honest, I just love eating food, and to do that I need to do loads of running," he said. "I've got my mate waiting at the ground so that I will have a change of clothes, I'll be wearing a long-sleeved 2010/11 Kevin Davies Bolton shirt."

Alex attended the reverse fixture last year at Stockport's Edgeley Park, however, he'll be hoping for a better result than the five-nil drubbing Wanderers received.
Bolton currently sit in sixth place in the league, and will be looking to bounce back from a midweek 3-2 loss to Bristol Rovers.
"I think we'll hit back with a two-nil win [today]," the 26-year-old said.
"I was in the Stockport end for the five-nil loss last year, so hopefully they'll be a bit of pay back for what will be my first game of 2025."
