In an exciting new mentoring programme, a group of Bolton School’s gifted and talented athletes from the Girls’ Division will work with the junior girls and share their sporting journeys.

Across the juniors and seniors involved, there are cricketers, footballers, gymnasts and dancers, netballers and tennis players.

The series of 10 sessions began with the older and younger girls building rapport and setting a foundation for the mentoring relationship.

The junior and senior groups shared fun facts and interests, created a shared agreement about their goals and discussed the purpose of the mentoring programme.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the juniors to receive advice and inspiration from their older peers, while the seniors can gain valuable skills through mentoring the younger girls.
