CONFIDENT Bruno Guimaraes insists Newcastle can stun Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday and says United's players are treating the game like a World Cup final.
Bruno admits Liverpool could be the best club team on the planet right now, but also thinks Newcastle have the world's best striker in Alexander Isak.
And after the boost of Monday night's hard-fought Premier League win at West Ham, Bruno says Newcastle can now go and make history in Sunday's Carabao Cup final.
"Of course I believe we can win," said Bruno, whose goal at the London Stadium lifted Newcastle to sixth in the Premier League.
"It's a final, anything can happen. Our fans can make the difference for us.
"For it, it's like the World Cup, this is everything for us. We want to make history for the club. it's been a long time for the fans without a trophy and we believe we can go there and win."

Bruno admits the final has been something of a distraction for Newcastle's players in the last few weeks but is now ready to put his full focus on Sunday's showcase.
"Of course we've been thinking about the final, it's massive for the club and the club's history," he said.
"We want to make history. We know we're going to play against one of the best teams in the world but I have confidence. We are hopeful we can go to Wembley and get the title.
"We have no doubts. We have a lot of confidence in ourself and believe in ourselves. Of course losing Anthony, Sven and Lewis is not that good for us but we have players who can play well we have shown we have a strong squad."
Alexander Isak came through Monday night's game after his recent injury scares and Bruno is backing the striker to shine on the big stage.
He said: "Isak is for me the best striker in the world at the moment.
"Our midfield has also been our strength. We work hard as a team,we have to go there, compete and give everything we can and we can win the game.
"Liverpool are the best team in the world but I have a lot of confidence we can go there and win the trophy."
