Manchester City have been told it was right that they did not play against ten men during their defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday lunchtime.
Forest picked up the victory late on after Callum Hudson-Odoi's strike beat Ederson at his near post.
In truth, the home side perhaps had the better chances in the game but before the ex-Chelsea man won the game, City felt they should have been playing against ten men.

Elliot Anderson looked to clear the ball with Phil Foden approaching from the opposite direction. However in doing so, the midfielder caught the City midfielder on the shin.
VAR chose to review whether it was a red card tackle but the officials in Stockley Park decided that it was not.
Reviewing the incident on Sky Sports' Ref Watch, former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher was adamant that it was not a dismissal offence.
"We were talking about this before the break, the challenge from Anderson sees him definitely take the ball, he gets loads of the ball," he explained.
"He catches Foden on the way through but what can the player do?
"The players are coming from opposite directions with momentum, it is inevitable that there is going to be a collision."
Defeat for City in the East Midlands leaves them with plenty of work to do to qualify for the Champions League.
The Blues currently sit fifth, two points behind Chelsea in fourth but could have Newcastle United move level on points with them should they beat West Ham tonight.
City are back in action when they play Brighton on Saturday.
