Former Aston Villa striker Danny Ings is reportedly set for another Premier League move - and could return to one of his former clubs in the process.
Ings left Villa in the summer of 2023 after 18 months at the club, scoring 14 goals during his time in B6. The 32-year-old left Villa Park to complete a permanent move to West Ham but could be set for another move in the near future.
According to The Mirror, Ings is expected to leave the London Stadium in the summer when the transfer window reopens. The report claims that a move to one of Ings' former clubs is on the cards, with Southampton apparently interested in signing the striker.

It has been reported that the Saints wanted to sign Ings in January and could revisit their interest at the end of the season. Ings has scored just one goal for West Ham this season and is not thought to have a long-term future in the capital with their new manager, Graham Potter.
Villa signed Ings from Southampton back in the summer of 2021. Now, almost four years later, it seems that the former Liverpool star could return to the Saints, a club he previously scored 46 goals across 100 appearances for during his previous spell at St Mary's.
If Ings was to move to Southampton, it's looking likely that the striker would be back competing in the Championship next season. The Saints are rock bottom of the Premier League table with just nine points to their name and are 14 points adrift of safety with just 10 matches left to play.
