A Rangers fan has tragically died this week after travelling abroad to watch his beloved team play in the Europa League.
Christopher Potter made the journey to Turkey along with thousands of Gers fans to watch the boys in blue take on Fenerbahce - the match is set to take place tonight.
However, Christopher - who is believed to be from the East End of Glasgow - was tragically killed following a road traffic incident.

(Image: Image taken from Christopher Potter's Facebook) Rangers Football Club broke the news this morning, with a spokesperson saying: "We are devastated to have learned of the passing of one of our supporters in a road traffic accident overnight in Istanbul.
"The immediate thoughts of everyone at the club are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"We are remaining in constant contact with both the Turkish and British authorities over this tragic incident."
A spokesperson for Fenerbahce added: "We extend our deepest condolences to Rangers FC and the entire Rangers community.
"We are deeply saddened to receive the heartbreaking news that a Rangers FC supporter, who traveled to Istanbul to support his team in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against our club Fenerbahçe, has tragically lost his life in a traffic accident.
"Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to his family, Rangers FC, and their community. Fenerbahçe Sports Club."
It is understood that Rangers and Fenerbahce players will wear black armbands at the game tonight, as a mark of respect for Christopher.

Tributes were quick to pour in for Christopher, who has been hailed as "one in a million."
One heartbroken person, who seemed to know Christopher, said: "Still trying to process this, devastated. Love you, my boy."
Another person said: "We are all absolutely heartbroken to hear this devastating news. I have known you from when you were just a baby. Rip Potter."
A third person added: "Seen Christopher Potter on Monday afternoon, such a tragedy. (I have) Known him since he was born as lived in the same street as him and his family. My condolences go out to all his family cause I know exactly how they'll all be feeling at this moment in time."
A fourth said: "Poor lad. No one should not come home from football."
While another said: "It’s just so sad, can’t get to grips with it. Seen him on our supporters bus every week. It’s just heartbreaking."
(Image: Image from GoFundMe) A GoFundMe was quickly set up to by those close to Christopher, in a bid to raise money for anything needed like helping with funeral costs or supporting his family during this difficult time.
The person behind the fundraiser wrote: "Hi, as everybody is aware, Christopher Potter was tragically killed while away watching his beloved rangers.
"Let’s try and get some money together to help with any costs needed, his funeral, getting him home or just to help his wife and kids. Let’s dig deep.
"All donations will be greatly appreciated."

Within a matter of hours, the fundraiser has already raised over an incredible £45,000.
(Image: Image from SNS) Robert Snodgrass, who played for Scotland's national team as well as English clubs like Aston Villa, West Ham United and Leeds United, donated £1,000 to the cause.
Comedian Gary Faulds also contributed a generous £250. Faulds also shared the fundraiser on his own social media to encourage others to donate.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office say they are aware of the death and are in touch with the local authorities.
