Tributes have poured in for a locally named Rangers fan who died in Istanbul last night.
(Image: Image taken from Christopher Potter's Facebook) Christopher Potter travelled to Turkey with thousands of Gers fans to watch the club's Europa League clash against Fenerbahce, which is set to take place tonight.
However, Christopher was tragically killed following a road traffic incident.

The news was broke by Rangers Football Club today.
A spokesperson for the team said: "We are devastated to have learned of the passing of one of our supporters in a road traffic accident overnight in Istanbul.
"The immediate thoughts of everyone at the club are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"We are remaining in constant contact with both the Turkish and British authorities over this tragic incident."

Family and friends of Christopher, as well as other Gers fans were quick to pay their respects on social media today.
One person, who has known Christopher since they were young, said: "Seen Christopher Potter on Monday afternoon, such a tragedy. (I have) Known him since he was born as lived in the same street as him and his family. My condolences go out to all his family cause I know exactly how they'll all be feeling at this moment in time."
Another person said: "Poor lad. No one should not come home from football."
A third person said: "Still trying to process this, devastated. Love you, ma boy."
A fourth person said: "It’s just so sad, can’t get to grips with it. Seen him on our supporters bus every week. It’s just heartbreaking."
A fellow Rangers fan said: "Times like these we have to all come together, life comes first. Rest in peace, Christopher, fly high."
Another person added: "We offer our deepest condolences to the family of Christopher Potter; huge Rangers fan and very much loved. Sympathy and support to many of his close friends who are with us in Istanbul. Rip Chris."
The foreign office confirmed earlier they are working with the local authorities following the death.
A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson said: "We are aware of the death of a British man in Turkey and are in touch with the local authorities."
