Norfolk are still flying high at the top of Division 3 of the UKDA League after a big home win over visiting Montgomery and Radnor at the weekend.

Once again, Norfolk's ladies started the match off with a tremendous 6-0 thrashing, with lady of the match Elaine Blackett taking the highest average award. The men also produced the goods, winning 10-2, with Richard Stoddart claiming the highest men's average.

It left Norfolk with a strong overnight lead of 16-2 and needing only three more games for an overall victory.

Sunday started superbly for the hosts at The Jube, in Great Yarmouth, with the ladies A team taking all six games and Roz Bulmer awarded highest ladies average. The men's A team won 8-4 with man of the match James Hubbard taking the award for highest average.

It gave Norfolk a 30-6 victory to maintain pole position in the table.

Ladies captain Claire Broom - who said taking all 12 games was one of her proudest moments - collected her 75th appearance award at the weekend, along with Roz Bulmer.

Next up for Norfolk in their promotion bid is an away trip to face Breconshire on March 29-30.
