Jack Grealish has been told to follow Marcus Rashford’s example and leave Manchester to resuscitate his Premier League career.
The Man City and England winger has been a bit-part player this season, making only six league starts and only four in the Champions League, meaning he has scored only two goals and provided five assists.
He played the full match in the FA Cup win over Plymouth Argyle at the weekend only to then be pictured at North Biddick Social Club near Sunderland.

Indeed Grealish’s brilliance in the Treble winning year of 2023 now seems something of a memory and just as Rashford has thrived after leaving Man Utd and joining Unai Emery at Aston Villa, so too Grealish has been told to find a new club.
Speaking on talkSPORT, pundit and former Rangers striker Ally McCoist was asked if the 29-year-old needs to leave the Etihad. “If you'd asked me maybe six months, a year ago, I might have given you a different answer but you're asking me now, and I think he does,” McCoist replied.
“I don't think he's in the same boat as Rashford, in terms of I think Rashford had to get away because he wasn't doing himself justice at Manchester United and needed a challenge.
“But Jack, I don't think really is getting the opportunity, or enough opportunity at City and it doesn't look to me as though that's going to change. For that reason, I think he's got to go and get playing.
“He's clearly good enough to play at the top level for some somebody else, and if he didn't get a consistent game during that period when Manchester City were really, really struggling – then when is he going to get a game?
“Clearly the manager likes him or he wouldn't have bought him in the first place, but it's as if he'll not give him that full trust or maybe six, seven, eight, nine games in a row.”
