Injuries continue to bite Birmingham City after Ryan Allsop and Ethan Laird limped off during the 1-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers.
Blues beat title rivals Wycombe thanks to Taylor Gardner-Hickman’s goal and now have a 12-point cushion at the top of League One.
But Chris Davies was handed two new injury issues in the second half as Laird suffered a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Allsop landed awkwardly on his ankle when claiming a cross.

Laird was replaced by Krystian Bielik and Allsop handed over the gloves to Bailey Peacock-Farrell in stoppage time.
Assessing the injuries, Davies said: “I think the early indication is that it’s not season-ending, that type of seriousness, but they are sore. They are both going to get assessed tomorrow which will give a clearer picture.”
Blues have had to deal with mounting injury issues in recent weeks. Scott Wright and Lyndon Dykes are long-term absentees and Jay Stansfield is still recovering from a leg injury.
Davies reported Marc Leonard has returned to training on the eve of Blues’ meeting with Wycombe and the midfielder could feature against Bolton or Lincoln next week.
