It the past few weeks two Manchester City stars have emerged themselves as undroppable for Pep Guardiola. Belgian Jeremy Doku and Brazilian Savinho have made the winger spots their own over the past month or so. The two were particularly electric in Wednesday’s victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
The two pacey wingers have given Pep’s side a new weapon they had previously lacked. Their raw speed has meant that City always have an option in behind.
They stretch the pitch and are two of the best one-on-one wingers the Premier League has to offer. Doku set up Haaland’s winner, and the two should have combined for City’s second against Spurs before half time.

Doku put in a brilliant cross for Savinho, who had broken free from his marker and was alone in the Tottenham six yard box, only to put the ball just past the post.
Both Doku and Savinho were the subject of high praise on Match of The Day from Danny Murphy,
" I thought the wingers were excellent today, especially in the first half," Murphy said,
"The disappointing thing for Pep and his City team was that really by half time the game should have been done.
"Savinho and Doku caused Udogie and Porro all kinds of problems. They didn't know whether to drop off or press. They were so dominant in wide areas.
"On Sunday they did alright against Liverpool too and their end product was better tonight."
In a tough season for Pep’s men, new arrival Savinho has been one of the positives to come out of this campaign. The 20-year-old joined City for around £30.8million in the summer from French side Troyes and has eleven goal involvements so far in all competitions.
In his second season in Manchester, Doku can establish himself as a true starter for the rest of the season if he carries on with his current form.
At only 20 and 22, the two have brought some much needed youth to City’s squad this season. If they can carry this form into the rest of the campaign, they will be seen as key men for Pep next season.
