Marcus Rashford has reportedly made a huge decision on his future at Manchester United after less than a month of his loan spell at Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old has shown glimpses of returning to his best at Villa Park since signing temporarily in January. After falling out of favour with Ruben Amorim, Rashford has caught attention with his displays with Villa in all the right ways.

After decent outings against Tottenham and Liverpool, Rashford played a huge part in Villa's 2-1 win over Chelsea last week, coming off the bench to create both goals - his first goal contributions since United's 4-0 win over Everton on December 1.

Villa are understood to have a £40million buy option as part of their loan deal and according to The Sun, the forward is keen to permanently move to Villa in the summer transfer window.

The report claims that the England international has told his friends that he feels revitalised after a draining couple of months in Manchester and there is optimism that Unai Emery is the right man to help him recover his England career.

Rashford hasn't played for the Three Lions since March and was left out of the Euro 2024 squad. Now, under new national manager Thomas Tuchel, Rashford is said to be determined to force his way into the World Cup 2026 squad.

News of Rashford's reported preference comes alongside good impressions from his teammates and Emery on the training ground. At United, his commitment on the training ground was one of the reported issues which led to him being shunned out by Amorim.

The sale of Rashford is set to be a huge boost to Amorim's hopes of bolstering his squad for the next season. The low budget at Old Trafford has been well-documented with it expected the club need to sell to bring reinforcements in.
