Manchester City will hope to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Liverpool when they visit Tottenham Hotspur tonight.
Pep Guardiola's side have already lost twice to Spurs this season, with the Carabao Cup reverse in October the start of a dismal run which has since seen City beaten 13 more times in their next 26 matches in all competitions. One of those defeats was a 4-0 humbling by Ange Postecoglu's side at the Etihad and while City won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium twice last term, that pair of successes were their first since March 2018.
Despite the recent struggles City remain fourth and firmly in contention for a spot in next season's Champions League. Guardiola will hope to have Erling Haaland available after the striker missed the last two matches with a knee complaint.

But the Norwegian striker is unlikely to be rushed back and given he didn't feel fit enough to feature at Anfield, Wednesday might come too soon. Omar Marmoush can continue in his absence while Phil Foden can offer another attacking outlet from a central position.
Savinho can continue on the wing while Jack Grealish could earn a recall to offer some control on the road. Likewise Bernardo Silva could come back in to offer some solidity alongside Nico Gonzalez in the middle of midfield.
At the back, injuries continue to blight City with John Stones and Manuel Akanji sidelined. Josko Gvardiol is a certain starter on the left while Rico Lewis can start on the opposite side. Ruben Dias surely comes back in after a surprise absence against Liverpool with Nathan Ake the natural partner.
Predicted XI: Ederson, Gvardiol, Ake, Dias, Lewis; Gonzalez, Bernado; Savinho, Foden, Grealish; Marmoush
